Tiffany

I wore this dress a week before my birthday,my daughters (school daughters) had cooked and invinted me for an early birthday dinner, there was good food my favorite food PILAU and a very delicious cake.
This pictures though are not everything because I was rushing my battery was dying n I was swearing a lot..I just took them for the sake of documenting
One of my classic looks, the pictures did not do justice to my beautiful dress.
The fabric is available in peach, gold, rose pink, tiffany blue, masalla.
I really love how beautifully the colors blend.
I love the color of the headscarf however its texture the way the material is very challenging while wearing the hijab.
The fabric for my dress is to die for....I wish I got this is black also.

Rainbow

How beautiful is black...they say black is a powerful power.
I have tried so many times to style this dress but the outcome was always naah πŸ‘Ž,It reached a moment when I wished I gave away this dress cause there was nothing good,I could have done with it.Then I said let me try wear it with black, cause when I wore it with all the other colors it widened me n made me look fat.a
So I paired  it with a black headscarf and black belt,I really love the outcome.

This fabric is everything, the splash of color makes a beautiful statement.
I am not going to give away this dress soon πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚and maybe not at all,I love it.
My bag was a birthday gift from a good and kind friend.

Feeling blue.

This is a lace dress I wore for Eid El fitr this year,I love looking extra good for this auspicious day.And a new dress does it all.The dress was made for three hours before midnight. And it came out perfectly just like how I wanted it.

The pictures do not do justice to this dress,it has lots of shine on its embroidery
I
The floor length πŸ‘Œ

I wore a yellow scarf n paired it with a slim waist belt

I choose to mix match royal blue with yellow afters seeing beautiful ladies slaying theis aso ebi in  blue dresses and yellow gele

Once a friend asked why all my outfits are in ankara?why I dont have lace dresses? And I said I have them I just don't wear them frequently because most of my lace dresses are for occasions, special occasions like Eid etc.

When you look good you will definitely feel good no doubt, although I was involved in a road accident the day before and had pain all over my right limb I still was very happy to see a new day, perform Eid prayer and visit my family.

Shine Is my favorite Color.

One thing I love about attending weddings is S.L.A.Y.I.N.G
I take my invitations too serious n always dress to kill.I love wearing the most beautiful dress I can design and create.

Mermaid dresses have never gone out of style, and I think they make a woman look taller and slimmer is the fitting is perfect

As I said in my previous post Its quite difficult for me to wear something that exposes my belly coz ever since I gained so much weight my stomach has become huge n clothes that tight that area dont look good or really feel right anymore. So I put a peplum to hide away but also add a twist on an ordinary mermaid dress.

One thing I can advice someone is to always have the right make up on,cause no matter how glamorous your dress is if your make up is not on point there is no slay.Always have your MUA ready and be on time for yoyr make up appointment. You can witness my poor make up and it was all because I ran out of time and the party had already started just when I sat to start doing my brows....since it was my sister's wedding n I was practically the host I really had to go with whatever I had on.

The make up wasn't so bad after all,I still slayed I guess the pretty face helped a little bit.
I rocked in this dress....I felt it...I knew it.

Think in Black and white.

Modesty is the new black!!
Abaya is a must have for all muslim women. It is an over garment often attributed to the Quranic verse "O Prophet, tell your wives, daughters and the believing women to cover themselves with a loose garment, they will thus be recognized and no harm will come to them"  Quran (33:59)
The Abaya is one of the most classic garment to ever exist. The classical abaya is in black and does not feature any details or decorations. It served the purpose of covering up.
In the modern days abaya is added a little more of details, some mix it with other fabrics, like how I did it.Some hand bead, put stones, embroidery so that it can serve the purpose of covering up yet looking good and feeling good about what you are wearing.
For me the abaya is one of the easiest garment to dress up and the quickest, I can stay covered yet move around running errands and be able to keep my swalat.Unlike other clother whose sleeves may be too tight and become a challenge when making wudhu.
Still on the monochrome,I think I love how clean black and white turn out be.

You can never go wrong with black, like Chirstian Dior once said "You can wear black at anytime. You can wear it at any age.You may wear it for almost any occasion."

This is also a piece from my first ever modesty collection....I just couldnt wait had to show off a little for the world to see.
The abaya has buttons in the front from top up above the knee, the purpose it for the undergarment to compliment the whole abaya look.

Master the clash

Monochrome;How I wore it.
Probably the easiest color combination to nail, monochrome is clean, simplistic and effortlessly chic. And when worn top to toe monochrome is the most effective.

When wearing monochrome,I chose to think outside the box since I am not A so black and white person,I really love a pop of color here and there in my outfit.
The cardigan has belt which accentuates the waist, the royal blue dress pops the outfit,I really don't know what pushed me to wearing the gold headscarf but I think it really made the whole look simple n classy. And for the chunky lime green necklace to pop.

This is one piece from my upcoming modesty collection.Stay tuned.

I loved the whole look and I took tones of photos I just had to select afew.

Prints Over dose

Ankara or kitenge a popular name in East Africa is our heritage and defines Africa to the diaspora. It is ours and we own it.My love for African prints is too strong.I think people should embrace it.
I love the color combination of this beautiful ankara, mustard yellow with royal blue blockes. This one I got from Congo when I was ordering it they said it was named as kitenge cha "tofali" .
I have gained so much weight in the past two years I went from 56 kgs to 83 kgs no pregnancy nor baby πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ n my eating is more or less the same. For Africans this is a good thing because I was so thin before marriage and right now when they see me they say wooow you have gained weight Mashallah your husband must be taking very good care of you.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Well the weight came with great disadvantage coz I have a huge belly now and I can not really wear fitted clothes as I feel fat and really uncomfortable. so I have to put a peplum on almost every dress or skirt or blouse I own.
The skirt is tight with a box slit on the back for easier movement,my blouse is made of a material called plain wax,its simpla and cute it has a kitenge dramatic collar you cant really see it well cause of the headscarf n the buttons inspired by a military jacket trend.
The bag and the shoes well you have seen much of them, they are my favorite and the easiest to wear and carry around while running errands
The headscarf is of lace details, simple and classic.
