I am not a fun of color red but i confess loving this dress in Red.....

I was honored to be invited to participate at the red ribbon gala organized by Tanzania Mitindo House,Khadija Mwanamboka,the founder and chairperson of Mitindo house invited me to showcase in the fashion show and fundraising event for the TMH  orphanage.

As an emerging designer this was a great opportunity and a platform to introduce myself to the world my ability, creativity and potential as a designer.

I was supposed to showcase four dresses but I managed to make only two dresses since I was really caught up by school however I love the two dresses I made cause they were a perfect fit to the models and I didn't have to make any adjustments during the fitting

The theme of the event was color red since it's the World's AIDS day and it's RED RIBBON.....

I did not want to go for a red dress rather incorporated the color red in a black khanga....I love using khanga in my designs since it has very vibrant colors,patterns and texture,i mixed this khanga with a red lace to get a modern twist....

although it was so hectic 

I did manage to get a picture of both models in my designs
