KIRAKA DRESS FOR MY OBSESSION
MY PATCHWORK DRESS NUMBER TWO GUESS YOU STILL REMEMBER THE OTHER ONE IN THE SHADES OF BLUE....WELL I THINK YOU ALL KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE BEEN CRAVING FOR THE PATCHWORK AFRICAN PRINT DRESSES...EVEN POSTED LIKE A THOUSAND TIMES DIFFERENT OUTFITS OF THIS STYLE AND HOW OTHER PEOPLE WEAR THE TREND...
THE BACK OF THE DRESS IS A BLACK THE PLAIN WAX FABRIC.....I CHOSE THE COLOR BECAUSE FIRST THE FRONT IS TOO BUSY WITH A NUMBER OF BRIGHT,COLORFUL AND BOLD PRINTS SO I WANTED A NEUTRAL COLOR TO SOFTEN IT AND SECOND I WAS AFRAID THAT WITH ALL THESE DIFFERENT VITENGES ONE OR TWO MIGHT KUCHUJIA SO BLACK WAS A SUITABLE COLOR BECAUSE IT CAN NOT BE AFFECTED
I LOVE THE FIT OF THE DRESS,IT IS FIGURE HUGGING AND SEXY,I GOT A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS TODAY...MOST PEOPLE CONFUSED WITH THE PATCHWORK SOME ASKING WHAT KING OF FABRIC THIS IS
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A PATCHWORK DRESS MY ADVICE IS TO SELECT THE FABRICS THAT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER
THERE IS NO WORD TO EXPRESS HOW I FEEL WHEN I AM IN THIS DRESS....I JUST LOVE IT

THROWBACK
ZEBRA PRINT IN A PINK DRESS
THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN IN 2009 WHEN I WAS A SECOND YEAR STUDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DAR ES SALAAM...I REMEMBER I HAD MADE A ZEBRA PRINT HIGH WAIST SKIRT AND THERE WERE FEW LEFTOVER PIECES OF FABRIC SO I DECIDED TO WORK WITH THEM FOR A PATCHWORK FOR ANOTHER DESIGN.
WHEN I WAS MAKING THIS DRESS I DID NOT THINK OF ANYTHING EPIC OR NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE ANY IMPACT TO OTHER PEOPLE...BUT AFTER I WORE IT I GOT A LOT OF STARING AND ASKING OF MY FUNDI AND WHERE I GOT THE DRESS,WHERE I GOT THE FABRIC AND WHAT KIND OF FABRIC I USED TO MAKE THE OUTFIT.YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE HOW HAPPY I WAS JUST TO KNOW THAT I DID A GOOD JOB BY A SIMPLE CREATIVITY,SO I GOT A LOT OF ORDERS FOR THIS DRESS,SOME WANTED IT IN THIS COLOR,OTHERS IN RED OR EVEN BLACK.
THAT WAS BACK THEN BUT WHENEVER I WEAR THIS DRESS I REALIZE I GET THE SAME KIND OF STARE AND QUESTIONS AND ORDERS JUST LIKE FOUR YEARS BACK...THIS MEANS THAT MY PIECES ARE TIMELESS
BELOW IS THE SKIRT I MADE BEFORE THIS DRESS WHERE I GOT THE LEFT OVER PIECES FOR PATCH WORK,I PAIRED IT WITH A RUFFLE TOP FROM MWENGE,MATCHING SHOES AND BELT AND ZEBRA PRINT EARRINGS AND INDIAN SET OF BUNGLES
I USED TO LOVE MATCHING MY OUTFIT AS YOU CAN SEE IN BOTH DRESSES BUT I THINK I STILL DO

LEARN FROM THE BEST;HOW TO DRESS UP IN AN EVENT'S SARE
I LOVE HOW THE BRIDE CHOSE HER MAIDS THEY ACTUALLY COMPLIMENTED HER,,,I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE COLOR OF THEIR DRESSES THOUGH BUT I LOVE THE FIT IT'S PERFECT
THE BRIDE STANDS OUT AMONG ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN,I GUESS IT IS THE SELECTION OF THE COLORS OF HER DRESS THAT ISOLATES HER FROM THE OTHERS DESPITE THE FACT THAT ALL THESE WOMEN DRESSED IN GREED ASO EBI
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT THESE PHOTOS IS HOW THESE WOMEN LOOKS ELEGANT IN A SARE DRESS WHICH DOES NOT HAPPEN QUITE OFTEN TO OUR WEDDINGS OR KITCHEN PARTY SARES IN TANZANIA...
THE GELE ADDS A UNIQUE TASTE TO THE OUTFIT
WITH ALL THAT GLAM I AM SURE YOU CAN STILL IDENTIFY OUR BEAUTIFUL BRIDE
THE COMBINATION OF BLACK,WHITE AND RED IS MAGIC...AND THE FACT THAT THE BRIDE IS NOT WEARING NONE OF THE THREE COLOURS AND STILL LOOKS AMAZING BRINGS EVEN MORE MAGIC....THIS IS TO ALL MY BRIDES OUT THERE....BE A LITTLE DARING,DO NOT BE AFRAID OF EXPERIMENTING WITH COLORS
